Setup was really simple, for me too.

I struggle to analyze the trainings, somehow Claude cannot extract the right pace and splits. ("Natürlich! Ich habe ja die Splits mit Zeiten – ich kann die HF-Daten aber leider nicht pro Split aus Runalyze abrufen, nur die Gesamtwerte (Ø 143 / Max 166 bpm)")

But maybe also he grabs the wrong data - I see very strange"manuelle runden" but when I go into "more information über deine Runden, the dataset is correct.

Zocher There are two different types of splits/laps. I've already prepared to publish both, but it has not been deployed today. But later tomorrow it should be the case.

I'm (or Claude) still struggeling with the "output" of Claude with the data from Runalyze. I'm trying to help with different prompts. so far no real progress. I'll keep you updated.

Been working great. I love how easily it's been able to filter the sessions to identical workouts and give me like-for-like progress over time. It's definitely using the various activity details it can find. Have not tried much with the health data yet.

One thing it got wrong was it gave me an erroneous recovery time - said "60 hours" when nothing else I could see was giving me more than one day. Not sure if that's down to AI hallucination or bad data.

Side note, since you said "Claude" integration I also tried adding it in Claude Code (because why not) but it rejected the localhost auth redirect.

runalyze Yeah If I try that then when I try to authenticate I get

Error: Incompatible auth server: does not support dynamic client registration

If I try it with the client ID+secret then it opens the browser window to runalyze to authenticate, but then:

Redirect URI not allowed

I guessed the oauth redirect is restricted to claude.ai and disallows localhost:X

great work on the MCP. think there may need to be some adjustment to timezone as the time I started my run was 05:46:00, however it seems Claude is taking the time in UTC?

The datetime in Runalyze showed 2026-05-24T13:46:00+08:00 which is HK local time (UTC+8).

As an active recreational runner for over 30 years, I have explored a wide range of tools, including handwritten logs, Excel spreadsheets, GoldenCheetah, WKO4/5, intervals.icu, and Runalyze. Every platform delivers data, but data interpretation, trend analysis, and deriving actionable insights remain the core challenges.
Integrating Runalyze with Claude via an MCP server—a setup I have also successfully implemented with intervals.icu—introduces a paradigm shift. The resulting capabilities are difficult to put into words, and I am likely only scratching the surface of what is now possible. 'Phenomenal' is an understatement. 🙂 - THX !

If helpful to know, I have created a daily delivery of the next day's prescribed workout using data pulls from Runanlyze via Claude Pro to build the agent. I can also have it delivery on Sundays for the coming week's workouts. I'm happy to share if anything about what I've had Claude build so far if of interest. I've had Claude prompt me a few times along the way about making use of Claude Platform and a MCP but it has also suggested what it's currently built for me as sufficiently meaningful. I've got Claude.ai connected to Runaylze MCP. Pulls clean. Nice work to whoever set it up!

Just set it up (stupid easy) and had a nice conversational analysis of my aerobic decoupling during my marathon block and where I am at now (recovery post block). The best part was I started with an opened ended ask of looking for trends in my running and fitness post marathon break and illness and then sent me down an interesting road on decoupling and aerobic deficiency. Love this.

Go to your Claude "connectors" via customize settings within your Claude account. Search for Runalyze.

mipapo I've just upgraded to Premium to play with this. I'm still seeing

and the 'Upgrade Now' button says I'm Premium. I'm seeing (or not seeing) the same as 7omca7 when I look for the runalyze Connector.

Over the last few months I've (with Claude's help) developed a few scripts that download my Health Metrics and Activity Data nightly from Garmin. Occasionally I use 'Cowork' in Claude and ask it to scan my files, or the ones I'm interested in, and produce a summary which I then copy to a conventional Chat. It has been very interesting for analyzing bad results. I've not used MCP yet although I'm aware it exists and I'm interested in learning/knowing about it.

Yes the setting page does not remove the premium hint, when you are premium. Need to adjust that.
