Fitbit-Runalyze integration

Runs are not automatically uploaded from Fitbit to Runalyze. From Runalyze Activity sync interface I can manually Force sync individually every run and then it is uploaded.

It is uploaded correctly, except it is not in characterized as Running but as Other and I have to change this every time.

Is there any other user who syncs Fitbit with Runalyze? How is your experience?

We had a problem that fitbit had disabled the webhook information to Runalyze. It's now active again and activities should flow in automatically.

Thank you! Yes it auto syncs now. But still synced Run workout is Sport: Other and not Sport: Running.

hariskar How do you record activities? Fitbits API is crap. We only see "Structured Workout" as Title on that activity, but no sport information on those activities. There seems to be something different with recording activities on a Fitbit device vs. Google Pixel Watch 3
I don't see anything we can change. You could change the fallback synchronization sport to Running. (https://runalyze.com/settings -> Import -> Synchronisation Fallback sport"

I wear Pixel Watch 3 and record with Fitbit app on the watch.
I will change fallback to Running. Other was the preset option. Thank you!

It doesn't fallback to Running, although I activated the setting you mentioned. It remains Other.

hariskar It's hard to debug. We are very limited from our time we can offer for support and Fitbit API is so crap...

By the way I abandoned Garmin Forerunner 955 and Garmin after over 10 years to use Pixel Watch 3.

Well, it feels like Fitbit will be dead in some years. Doesn't really feels like Google will put a lot of work there

Maybe it will be substituted by something else. Or there will be a major update. There has to be some sport platform for Pixels.
