First and foremost, I have been a Runalyze user for probably 5-6 years now. You product is fabulous and immensely rich, powerful and groundbreaking.
I have a question about the apparent sharp "detraining" trajectory of the Marathon shape (MS). I know it is a statistical model, and not a true physiological test(s). However, exercise science has proven that a well trained person's rate of "detraining" is not very sharp, especially in the first few days or couple of weeks.
So, how can MS decrease by 2-3% in 4 days, even if the runner has continued training. Sure, by the next long run, there is again a sharp increase in MS. I would think that both the up and down trajectories of MS would be a bit more even?
I would love to hear your thoughts.
