Detecting pauses during import

I am a new user. I have set up Runalyze to import my run data from FitnessSyncer, which in turn imports the data from Smashrun. My running app is Sportractive which uploads the run data to Smashrun.

I have noticed that the pace shown in Runalyze is slower than other app/websites. I have also noticed that Runalyze ignores the pauses in the runs, though I have checked the Detect pauses option in the import set up. Sometimes the pauses are as high as an hour, which obviously makes the Runalyze pace way off the mark!

Do I need to do something more so that the pace in runalyze is matching the other apps/websites?

Pew, well the biggest problem here seems to be that you push data to Runalyze which is maybe already transformed because it's sent through many other services

sportractive - FitnessSyncer - Smash run - Runalyze...
Please never do things like that. Please export from sportractive to Runalyze directly/export- upload and check what I looks like then.

Thanks for the quick response. That did the trick. I have set it up this way so that I do not have to manually upload the run data every time!

Apart from the pause not being detected, is there any thing that gets messed up if I do not import the activity directly from Sportactive? If not I would only manually upload those activities from Sportractive which have pauses.

Totally depends on what sportactive is recording, but if it's just the default data like GPS, hr stuff shouldn't get messed up. But no guarantee

mipapo I am exporting a tcx file from Sportractive and uploading it to Runalyze as recommended by you earlier. I have noticed that there is a small discrepancy in the data. e.g. if Sportractive records the duration as 1:09:51, runalyze will show it as 1:09:44. Very small difference, but should not be there! Am I doing something wrong? Any workaround?

Very small differences can happen in that file format. Fit file format is always the preferred one. You can send the file to us, but not sure if we can take a quick look at it, as we have more stuff on our list.
