Gravel Bike - Sport mapping

I started using Runalyze this weekend. I connected Garmin and Suunto to sync with Runalyze.

I have set up Gravel Biking as "other sports" because there is no option in cycling.
I can understand that gravel activity are not detected correctly by default, but I don't understand why all my synched activity are setted as mountanbike.

Am I missing something?

Because you created "Gravel Bike" as a manual sport and the synced activity says: (content of the fit file)
--- unknown110="MTB"
--- sport=2=cycling
--- sub_sport=8=mountain

Ok, the last activity (saturday) is MTB and it was imported correctly as Mountanbike.

The FIT file for the Friday activity however has:
--- name="GRAVEL"
--- unknown4=45=45
--- sport=2=cycling
--- sub_sport=46=gravel_cycling

And was also synched as Mountanbike

Note: all of these FIT comes from Garmin Connect

I see in another file there is:
--- unknown110="GRAVEL"
--- sport=2=cycling
--- sub_sport=46=gravel_cycling

Let us check if we can simply add an internal sport for Gravel cycling

We added a new internal sport for Gravel Cycling so we can add an internal mapping. I've updated your manual sport to the internal sport (Gravel) - It's now categorized under the category cycling: https://runalyze.com/settings/sport
Before Gravel Cycling was mapped to MTB

For other users who read this: Every sport named Gravel and which didn't had any internal sport mapping yet was adjusted to the internal sport "Gravel Cycling" now.
For users who had a sport named Gravelbike/cycling which had already a internal mapped sport we didn't changed anything. This can result in a newly created sport for Gravel Cycling when new activities with "Gravel" coming in.
If this is the case: Change the new activities to your already existing sport and delete the - because of the automatic created sport during import - created sport type. Then change the existing one and adjust the internal sport to "Gravel cycling" at https://runalyze.com/settings/sport

I can confirm that all activities imported from Suunto have been correctly divided between MTB and Gravel
